Tactile Switches
Tactile membrane switches provide physical feedback to the users, assuring them that the circuit connection was made. GDSI offers three basic options for tactile feedback: metal domes, heat formed polymer domes and elastomeric membrane keypads. Each of these options offers a unique set of features and advantages as well as cost tradeoffs. Each option must be configured to meet the performance requirements of the end use. This often requires specific combinations of materials and assembly techniques to assure the reliability of the tactile switch. Our design engineers can recommend the best material options for your tactile switch requirements.
GDSI's D/SPC® can be used with all these options.
